Last time I posted, I suggested that if folks were interested, I would post some chapters from the book I am writing here. Blend is Back!
Blend on the Bayou is a Northeast Louisiana Arts Council annual fundraiser. It’s also a lot of fun! So make a good time count for something bigger, like supporting the arts in our area. Put Sunday, April 30, 5-8 pm on your calendar now. The event will be at the River Market in Downtown Monroe. I will be one of many artists with a tableful of artworks for sale via auction or purchase on the spot. Off the Wall
It is time once again for our local, city-owned art museum, the Masur, to raise funds via their annual art auction. I am pleased to have contributed a piece once again. This particular green heron was photographed at Black Bayou Lake NWR. The piece is comprised of a 14×11 pigment print framed 20×16 with a white mat, black gallery frame and glass glazing. Folks, I got stranded in DFW on my way home from Chicago last week and did not get home in time to begin the Communication for Pros workshop that was to begin last Saturday.
