Two Online

Biafrin, the international all-in-one online art marketing platform, has accepted two more of my works. Untitled (Union Station) is in the Exhbizone Winter Festival international show, which you can view here.

Untitled (Union Station)

I remember so well the day I made this shot in Chicago! My Chicago photog friends and I went to Union Station to shoot, not only because it was cold and snowy outside but because we were participating in a Drink & Click©. The theme, as I recall, had something to do with old stuff, and Union Station is not only old itself but full of old stuff.

We had a great time wandering around the station. None of my shots from inside were all that great, but as we were leaving the building, I glanced back and saw this. I got exactly one frame, and then the man standing there dwarfed by the columns turned and left. This is the third time this image has been selected for a juried national or international show.

It has now been more than a year since I was last in Chicago. Sigh.

The Way of Grass 2

Another of Biafrin’s opportunities is an online magazine called “Artistonish,” The current issue theme is “Life” and The Way of Grass 2 is on page 3 of the magazine. You can browse through the magazine here.

Wild, uncut grass is a thing of beauty in all seasons, but I think winter is my favorite time. The colors can be surprising and the seeds with their feathery kites ready to be borne away by the slightest breeze are always captivating. This grass was growing at Camp Hardtner, a natural treasure surrounded by Kisatchie National Forest in central Louisiana.

Artworks selected by Biafrin for their various online exhibition opportunities are for sale. Go to the online exhibit at the links provided above and click on the QR code associated with the work you are interested in.
