For the first time, a gallery to which I have submitted applications to shows a number of times, and have been invited into those shows with one artwork several times, recently included me among a total of 15 artists to be in a special multi-work “Artist Invitational 2024.” That’s gratifying.

The invitation came from the Dragonfly & Hummingbird Art Gallery, an online venue based in Los Angeles, CA. Each of the 15 artists was invited to submit five works, from which a minimum of three would be selected for the show. I’m pleased to report that all five of mine have been included.

It’s especially fun that two of these pieces–Frozen and Summer’s Grace–were made from captures on my recent trip to Denver. It snowed. Quite a lot! And since I don’t often get to photograph snow, I did my best to make the most of it.
