Local Friends: Come!

Come this Saturday night, March 18, to Ruston Artisans at 203 W. Alabama Ave. in Ruston to hear my presentation. It’s called “Michelangelo’s Sisters: Rediscovering History’s Great Women Artists,” and it is fun, informative and challenging. You’ll even have a chance to win a prize!

Do you know who these “ladies” are and what they have to do with art history? I thought not. Come find out!

This is a free event. It will begin at 7 and run about an hour and a half–depending in part on you. I like questions and a bit of discussion along the way, and I have a few questions of my own. Yes, there will be a quiz! So come and check out what you know about women artists in history and see if you can win a prize.

This presentation is based on my doctoral dissertation research at the University of Pennsylvania.
