Four to Go!

Wow! I shipped four artworks within 24 hours of each other this week. That’s the most ever in so short a period of time.

The Singer II

The Singer II went to “Street Encounters,” a show hosted by the Texas Photographic Society. The show venue is the Rooftop Gallery at the Arlington (TX) Museum of Art, 201 W. Main St., Arlington, TX.

Interestingly, this show has a companion show in the same venue: “Vivian Maier: The Color Work.” For those who don’t know, Maier was a Chicago nanny whose passion for and tremendous output of street photography did not get discovered until after her death. She was good. I am proud to be in a companion show.

This show opens November 27 and runs until February 21, 2021, and Arlington is just under a 5-hour drive from Monroe. Any of my local peeps what to join me for a little road trip?

BTW, this singer was performing at an outdoor festival in Millenium Park in Chicago. The area in front of her stage was a dance floor crowded with dancers, so getting a shot without getting jostled was a challenge.

The other three pieces I shipped this week went to a show in Kansas City and that will be my next post.
